A former Food Pantry client, Andre*, recently stopped by with fresh produce from his new garden to donate—and his story is a powerful reminder of how your support changes lives.
Andre shared that he had been living on the streets for two years before finally securing stable housing. During that difficult time, Beverly Bootstraps provided critical support, helping him get back on his feet when he felt “down and out.”
Now, Andre is giving back. He worked with his property manager to create a small garden on his new property, where he grows fresh vegetables not only for himself but also to share with other residents and donate to our Food Pantry.
