Gabe Cheung
With Gabe’s heritage rooted in Chinese and Cuban traditions, his passion is driven by fusion and flavor. Chef Gabe has been the executive chef of the Essex Country Club since April 2017.

Alex Pineda
The son of legendary Boston chef and restaurateur, Lydia Shire, and former Chopped finalist, Alex Pineda is carving his own path as the co-owner of Que Mas in Beverly.

Bill Fogarty
Chef Bill Fogarty has spent 28 years in the food industry. He believes in working with local farmers and vendors and maintaining the integrity of food. He is the executive chef at Kitchen Table in Beverly.

We’re excited to invite restaurants and food businesses to be part of Best Chef 2026 on Friday, April 11, 2026 at the Boston Marriott Peabody. This signature event brings together 250+ guests for an unforgettable evening of food, fun, and community impact—an excellent opportunity to showcase your culinary talents to an engaged and generous audience.
What We’re Asking From Participating Vendors:

Provide tastings of one or more menu items for 250–300 guests.

Supply any heating/cooling equipment needed to keep your food at safe temperatures.

Have at least one staff member present to serve at your table the evening of the event.

Submit a Certificate of Insurance for the Boston Marriott Peabody.
What Beverly Bootstraps Provides to You:
