Client Update Forms
Client update forms are required to participate in any seasonal program. They are available in 5 languages. Please download and fill out your form before arriving.
Food Assistance
Food Pantry
All clients may visit the Food Pantry every 7 days to “shop” and choose the foods they enjoy from our selection of fresh produce, proteins, staple items, and extras. The Food Pantry is restocked throughout the day and clients are encouraged to come later in the day to avoid waiting in lines.
All clients must bring proof of Beverly, Manchester, Essex, Hamilton or Wenham residence (a piece of mail postmarked within the last 30 days).

Wednesday – 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
Thursday – 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Refrigerated Food Lockers
Automated Refrigerated Food Lockers provide more convenient food for anyone in need. Food insecure community members living in Beverly, Manchester, Hamilton, Wenham and Essex are able to pick up food they’ve ordered online through Beverly Bootstraps’ SmartChoice system with 24-hour access to the lockers.

Tax Preparation Assistance
For those who qualify, Beverly Bootstraps and its IRS-trained staff and volunteers prepare tax returns for low-income families and individuals at no cost. Please click here to see a list of documents you will need to bring to your intake appointment. Learn More About the Earned Income Tax Credit >>
As of March 8, all our tax appointments have been filled.
Please go to the VITA website to search by zip code for other local sites that are offering tax assistance services. If you are able to prepare your taxes yourself, you can do so for free at My Free Taxes website.
Individuals 50 and over, can also utilize the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide website.
Back-to-School Backpacks
Clients looking for backpack and school supply assistance: Our 2023 Back-to-School Backpack distribution is complete. All remaining backpacks have been distributed to public schools in our service area. If you need a backpack and school supplies for your child, please reach out directly to your child’s school.

Fixin's for the Feast Thanksgiving Meals
Fixin’s for the Feast bags, a pre-packed bag of all the Thanksgiving fixin’s, is complete for 2023.
