We offer emergency and long-term assistance, including access to food, housing stability, adult and youth programs, education, counseling, and advocacy. We are community-funded and supported.

Our Mission at Beverly Bootstraps
With the generous support of our donors, volunteers, and the community at large, we have grown to be a leading social service agency on the North Shore of Boston. We are unique in our approach to the issues of hunger. While recognizing that people need food in hand to stem immediate hunger, our clients also need the opportunity to be embraced by the community, educated about the resources available, and empowered to improve their own lives. As we continue to grow, our commitment to the community remains the same: to provide critical resources to families and individuals so that they may achieve self-sufficiency. We accomplish this while maintaining our commitment to fiscal responsibility and serving as trusted stewards of the organization.

MFM Health organized a food drive at their Danvers and Middleton locations to support local North Shore food pantries! We’re grateful to be included among the pantries benefiting, and thanks to everyone who donated, nearly 230 lbs of food was delivered to Beverly Bootstraps. 🧡
Their drive continues through December 19. If you’re able, consider adding an extra item to your grocery trip to help keep local pantry shelves stocked this holiday season.❄
Rock Voices (Beverly chapter) held a huge food drive for Beverly Bootstraps! They asked 130 of their members to bring donations to rehearsals and even turned it into a fun game: whoever guessed closest to the total weight would win a gift card to a local restaurant.😆
Together, this incredible rock choir collected 1,880 lbs of items! Huge shoutout to Shari Hewson and Alda Fleming for organizing this, and thank you to everyone who came together—not just for great music, but for the community. You all truly ROCKED THIS!🤩🎶👏
