For many in our community, everyday life can suddenly become overwhelming. At Beverly Bootstraps, we see this reality firsthand: individuals and families facing tough times and needing support. We are reminded of how quickly things can change and the importance of you, our donors, who enable us to help those in need.

A single mother of two, Marli*, had always managed to get by, until now. Groceries were suddenly too expensive, bills too high, and despite her best efforts, her paycheck couldn’t stretch far enough. Marli found herself choosing between feeding her children and paying rent. “I’ve always been the one helping others,” she told us quietly, “I never imagined I’d be the one in need.”

Last year alone, over 6,000 of our neighbors came through our doors seeking assistance, nearly 1,300 more compared to the year before. Our Food Pantry, Mobile Market, Home Delivery, Kids Weekend Food Bags and Food Locker programs played a crucial role in reaching those who needed it most.

Supporting Beverly Bootstraps means more than just offering food. It’s about providing comfort to those who feel alone, restoring dignity to individuals who face hardship, and offering hope for a better tomorrow.

Now, more than ever, we need to come together and support one another, ensuring everyone knows they are valued and cared for. Every meal, donation, and act of kindness helps lift burdens and bring light to those navigating tough times. In these moments of shared compassion, YOU can truly make a difference. Your gift today makes a world of difference in the lives of Marli and others like her.
