Beverly Bootstraps has a long standing relationship with several local colleges, including Endicott College, Gordon College, Salem State University, and North Shore Community College in which we collaborate to provide Juniors and Seniors studying Social Work, Human Services, Education and Nonprofit Management with practical education and real life experience by working in their chosen fields.
We offer internships throughout our programs including Case Management, Food Assistance, and Adult & Youth Education on a limited basis; typically up to 3 positions/placements per semester. Duties include working in our Food Pantry to assist with day to day operations and distribution of food to clients, coordinating our seasonal Adopt-a-Family and Back-to-School Bonanza programs, working with case managers to provide services to clients, mentoring youth in After-School programs, tutoring adults in English Language, computers or HiSET or helping in our Tax Preparation program assisting clients file for the Earned Income Tax Credit.

Because of the nature of our services and need for client confidentiality, we are not able to accept high school interns.
